Peter Wells
Director, Consultancy
As one of three directors managing consultancy services for Cartesian, Peter is responsible for line management, training and career progression for the consultants within his team. Also serving as the Delivery Lead for a major telecom client, he ensures that all projects are delivered within strict time, budget and quality standards. With over seventeen years in the telecom sector, Peter has a profound knowledge of delivery management, solutions architecture and design, revenue assurance, service fulfillment and provisioning, order-to-cash lifecycle, greenfield startups, and next-gen networks and services.
Peter joined a telecommunications operator after graduating from university and has since been in the industry working in both operational and IT roles. His wide industry experience covers both fixed and mobile sectors and has been the foundation for his success at Cartesian.
Since joining Cartesian in 2000, Peter has served in many leadership roles, managing systems integration projects, implementing new billing, revenue assurance, provisioning and eCare solutions, and launching new services and network models. Peter’s accomplishments at Cartesian include leading a self-care project , initiating and running a major program to upgrade the Ascertain IOP software suite in order to support the provisioning of next-gen wholesale services, and supporting a variety of strategy consulting pieces.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
