Wendy Wollard
Wendy is responsible for Cartesian’s European based customers outside of the UK, ensuring customer satisfaction during delivery engagements as well as during post-project support. After working twelve years in the telecommunications industry, Wendy has gained extensive program and project management expertise in revenue assurance, billing, data migration and mediation systems.
Wendy started her telecommunications career at the American incumbent (PTT) operator, US West, where she gained an inside appreciation for the multiple challenges facing her customers, among whom have included British Telecom, KPN, Virgin Media, and Unitymedia. her work has spanned a number of roles including leading the implementation of a revenue assurance solution for a European fixed line PTT, managing the outsourced interconnect billing system deliveries for British Telecom’s Wholesale and Global Services lines of business, and providing business process re-engineering consultancy based on eTOM principles to Telecom Egypt.
Building upon her experience, Wendy has successfully delivered major projects for Cartesian including the roll-out of revenue assurance tools to a UK quad play, the completion of a billing and CRM data migration project for a Belgian mobile operator, and the implementation of a new mediation system integrated with Cartesian’s Usage Assurance solution at a German triple-play (cable, fixed line, and broadband) operator. She has also delivered numerous revenue assurance consultancy engagements.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University, a Certificate in Information Systems Programming from Denver Technical College, APMP project management accreditation, and a Certificate in Financial Analysis for Non-Financial Managers from the American Management Association.
