Alan is one of the co-founders of Cartesian. A professional with over 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Alan qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloitte) before moving into management consultancy. He was engaged in consulting assignments in the media and communications industry before specialising in the telecom sector. Alan also worked in the Finance, IS, and Billing departments for a major North American telephony and cable company, giving him the hands-on experience essential to advise Cartesian’s customer base.

For the last nine years, one of Alan’s key roles has been managing the development and growth of the company. He plays an active role in steering projects, and participates in many strategy assignments that Cartesian undertakes on behalf of its clients.

Alan’s leadership and expertise in revenue assurance for telecommunications help Cartesian to provide leading-edge consultancy and products for its customers and allow him to focus on industry initiatives such as the UK Revenue Assurance Group (RAG) - a forum for operators to develop and promote best practice in revenue assurance.
