System Selection

An Advisory Role in Systems Selection

Cartesian has often helped out clients at various phases of the system selection process. We have contributed Subject Matter Expertise relating to potential technical and operational challenges within specific areas, objective analyses of vendor solutions in the context of particular client circumstances, as well as insights and guidance during commercial discussions.

Formal RFI/RFP/RFQ Process

Cartesian are uniquely positioned to assist clients in RFI/RFP processes.  Our greatest asset is our independent subject matter expertise to lead our clients through the selection of telecoms systems.  We have a repeatable process that has resulted in successful selections of vendors for dozens of clients for implementations of all sizes, types and locations.

The Cartesian RFP process begins with the evaluation of business and system requirements.  We will undertake a thorough review of current systems and architecture to ensure that the solution sought will match the client needs.  Next, Cartesian designs and distributes an RFP which will best challenge vendors to meet system functionality requirements. Once responses are received, Cartesian will work with the client to evaluate the commercial offerings of each response.  Finally, we assist the client in managing short listed vendor presentations, support commercial discussions, and present the recommendations for approval.
