- December 2005: Meet Cartesian in Nice at the Revenue Management Conference 2006
- Cartesian will be exhibiting at the Revenue Management Conference from 23—26 January 2006 at Radisson SAS, Nice. Cartesian will also present a joint case study with The Carphone Warehouse on their choice to use the pseudo-event approach in their implementation of Ascertain Test Event Management to provide independent verification of pricing accuracy.
- December 2005: ntl builds Revenue Assurance Operations Centre using Cartesian’s Ascertain tool suite
- ntl, a leading UK fixed network operator with over 3m customers, has completed the initial phase of development of a Revenue Assurance Operations Centre (ROC) and has implemented Cartesian’s Ascertain Revenue Assurance toolset, together with Atio’s ‘X-Plor’ test call generation system, to be the nerve centre for ntl’s programme for revenue assurance and compliance to regulatory requirements under the UK Ofcom Metering & Billing Direction.

- November 2005: Pro-active, End-to-End Telecoms Revenue Assurance Conference 2005, Vienna
- Cartesian will be presenting and exhibiting at the Pro-active End-to-End Telecoms Revenue Assurance conference from 5—8 December 2005 at the Renaissance Penta, Vienna, Austria. Cartesian and the Revenue Assurance Group (RAG) are leading the pre-conference workshop — “A new perspective on Revenue Assurance, Sarbanes-Oxley and Regulatory Compliance”.

- Cartesian will be chairing the panel discussion on OSS Strategies & Revenue Assurance at the Strategic Information Management Conference on 30 November 2005 at the Hilton Vienna Plaza, Vienna.
- October 2005: Major upgrade of InterconnecT software and remodeling of reference data at Telewest
- Telewest and Cartesian are delighted to announce that they have successfully completed the implementation of version 6.0.7 of Intec's InterconnecT software. The project was undertaken as a business-as-usual initiative to ensure that Telewest continues to run the most up to date software versions. The new version of InterconnecT ensures that Telewest is on a core version of the software, which includes functionality and performance improvements additional to those provided in previous releases at Telewest.
- October 2005: Billing and Revenue Assurance in Telecoms Conference 2005, Dubai
- Cartesian will be exhibiting and presenting at the Billing and Revenue Assurance in Telecoms conference from 26—30 November 2005 at the Mövenpick Bur Dubai Hotel, Dubai. Alan Strong, Cartesian’s MD, will be addressing the conference on “Forecasting Future Revenue Assurance Challenges And Implementing Pro-Active Measures To Minimise Revenue Leakage”.
- May 2005: The Carphone Warehouse selects Cartesian’s Ascertain products for Test Event Generation
- The Carphone Warehouse has selected Cartesian’s Ascertain toolset to provide a Test Event Management System. The solution will ensure the correct functioning of the rating and billing systems and will provide evidence of timeliness, accuracy and completeness for Ofcom compliance purposes.
- April 2005: T–Mobile (UK) announce the successful delivery of Ascertain RDA from Cartesian
- T–Mobile (UK) and Cartesian are delighted to announce that they have successfully completed implementation of Ascertain RDA v3.0 under the T–Mobile (UK) led Customer Data Integrity (CDI) project. This was the first contract for a revenue assurance tool to be awarded externally by T–Mobile (UK), and the first time they have worked with revenue assurance specialists Cartesian.
- April 2005: T–Mobile (UK) & Cartesian project recognised at World Billing Awards 2005
- Cartesian’s implementation of Ascertain RDA at T–Mobile (UK) was runner up for the Best Revenue Assurance Project award at the World Billing Awards 2005. This recognises our joint achievement in enhancing data quality and business processes to improve customer service, revenues and cash flow.
- April 2005: 5th Annual Revenue Assurance & Cost Management in Telecoms Conference, London
- Cartesian will be exhibiting at the Vision in Business 5th Annual Revenue Assurance & Cost Management in Telecoms Conference from 25—26 May 2005 at Riverbank Park Plaza, London. Cartesian’s MD, Alan Strong, and ntl’s Group Revenue Assurance Director, Moly McMillan, will be addressing the conference jointly to discuss innovative ways of developing a risk/reward approach to delivery of revenue assurance tools.
- March 2005: Billing Systems Conference 2005, London
- Cartesian will be exhibiting at the Billing Systems Conference 2005 at Olympia, London, from 5—7 April 2005. Following the successful implementation of Cartesian’s Ascertain RDA at T–Mobile (UK), T–Mobile (UK) are nominated for an award under the category “Best Revenue Assurance/Management Project”.
