Telecoms Internal Audit and Risk Management Conference 2006

Cartesian’s Chairman, Alan Strong, will be presenting at the Telecoms Internal Audit and Risk Management Conference from 26-28 April 2006 at the Sana Malhoa Hotel, Lisbon. The presentation will discuss a collaborative approach for “Implementing and Modelling (KPIs) to Measure, Monitor and Report on Performance” and includes:

• developing qualitative KPIs for end-to-end risk control and reporting mechanisms
• clarifying the difference between the metrices required for benchmarking and business reporting
• resolving the potential conflicts between the internal performance monitoring and comparability benchmarking:
• which measures suit which?
• what benefits can accrue from “other people’s metrics”
• keeping KPIs up to date to ensure they stay relevant to strategic and audit demands
• examining industry examples
