Cartesian announces completion of sale to TMNG

Following Cartesian’s press release of 28th December 2006, Cartesian is pleased to announce the closure of the acquisition of Cartesian by TMNG. For details on the transaction you may refer to TMNG’s press release.

Cartesian’s business and identity will remain intact and it should be noted that the existing objectives and the current management team will not change. We remain fully committed to our existing customers and to the business opportunities we are currently developing.

The changes anticipated are primarily in the combined strength of TMNG and Cartesian enabling us to undertake larger projects and, over time, extend our geographical reach. TMNG and Cartesian believe the combination of our two teams will provide a significant benefit for our customers. In particular:

  • we will be in a stronger position to supply professional services by experienced and talented subject matter experts to address complex issues in the areas of programme management, systems integration, technical services, software development and support
  • we will reinforce our product development activities. The Ascertain software application will be further extended and improved. The Cartesian R&D team will benefit from access to TMNG´s business knowledge and input to the product roadmap
  • Cartesian’s products and services will also benefit from TMNG’s global marketing reach
