Our Product Suite: Ascertain …
The Ascertain suite comprises six functional modules which address specific Revenue Assurance requirements. These can be delivered as standalone tools, or seamlessly integrated to provide broader solutions. The modules, in brief, are:
- Ascertain Reference Data Audit – analyses discrepancies between reference data held on the network elements and back office data in the CRM and Billing systems
- Ascertain Usage Monitor – monitors throughput of event transaction files, volumes and trends. Usage Monitor generates data for Key Performance Indicators and raises alerts for reporting through the dashboard, by email or to an alarm management system
- Ascertain Matcher – provides an operator with the ability to compare previously irreconcilable sources of data. At the heart of Ascertain Matcher lies a configurable, flexible correlation engine that can locate and match the same event in different files or database tables – even if recorded in an entirely different way
- Ascertain Rater – a rating engine designed for revenue assurance professionals. This enables them to carry out an independent check on the key functions of the rating and billing systems including the accuracy of the tariffs, discounts and promotions being applied
- Ascertain Event Search – registers and archives events allowing fast search and retrieval for revenue assurance analysis, billing query investigations and testing
- Ascertain EDR Generator – creates pseudo-live Event Detail Records in the correct binary formats so that Revenue Assurance and IT can test new software releases and service offerings thoroughly
Together they form a fully productised and supported set of tools. All modules operate within a common framework that provides advanced user interface, job management, reporting, user administration and security functionality. The approach provides flexibility and scalability; solutions can be integrated and configured quickly and effectively to meet particular customer requirements.
